On April 27 of this year the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov, made an annual address to the residents of the Moscow Region. 

The main thesis of the speech was to improve the quality of life of every inhabitant of the region due to the plans to be implemented in the current period. The changes will affect, among other things, the business sector.

The event was attended by members of the Government of the Moscow Region, heads of local self-government bodies of municipalities, deputies, representatives of law enforcement agencies, heads of traditional confessions, public figures, culture, science, art, education, health care, sports, representatives of the business community, heads of the media region, honorary citizens of the Moscow Region. 

The Governor dedicated his annual address to the implementation of the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in his message to the Federal Assembly.

“We well remember the words from the President's Address: “ People are not just waiting, but rightly demanding tangible, visible results and changes ”. That is why we have named our message - “Changes. What worries people, "said the head of the region. 

Changes will affect, in particular, the economy of the region. For example, for investors who create jobs for residents of the agricultural cluster in the separated territories of the Moscow Region, a special support program will be in effect: tax preferences and land for 7.5% of the cadastral value.

In addition, Andrey Vorobyov noted, the construction of the fifth special economic zone in Domodedovo will start in July. Investors ready to become residents of this zone, have already been identified, and the first stage of investments will amount to about 30 billion rubles. 

The development of digital technologies for business will continue. 

Last year was difficult, the Governor noted, but a constant dialogue with business allowed not only to preserve existing enterprises, but also to open 1.5 thousand companies in the Moscow Region, which attracted an additional 8 billion rubles to the budget.

“The pandemic has hit the economy of the Moscow Region noticeably: 60 billion was directed to the fight against covid, and 50 billion rubles were lost in taxes. The support of the President and joint work with the Government of Russia helped a lot. But thousands of other large and medium-sized companies continued to work steadily, small business survived. Each head should stimulate small business in his territory - this is not only taxes, but also a large number of happy families who will have jobs and prosperity", the head of the region emphasized.

“2020 was an extremely difficult year. The pandemic had a negative impact on all types of business, and especially seriously - on service enterprises that could not work for a long time. A number of bills were adopted at the federal and regional levels aimed at helping the real sector of the economy. Our most important task was to keep jobs. We understand perfectly well that the main asset of any enterprise is precisely the people who work there. Thanks to support measures, the business was able to obtain loans at low rates. Subsidies were given for each job, and this greatly helped to preserve the potential that each enterprise has. But this is not a reason to stop there. Together with the team of the Administration, heads of public reception offices, public assistants, we will make every effort to achieve maximum results in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the entrepreneurial community of the Moscow Region”- commented Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
