The Moscow Region Business Ombudsman helped the entrepreneur to resume the investigation of the criminal case.

After a year of unsuccessful attempts to restore the violated rights, the light began to shine in the case of the Solnechnogorsk entrepreneur after an appeal to the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow region, Vladimir Golovnev.

In January 2021, the management company of LLC UK "Rodny Gorodok" along with the parent company of CJSC UK "Capital-Invest", without any prior notice, cut off electricity in the premises of a grocery store owned by a businessman. For connecting to the power grid, the entrepreneur shared, representatives of the management company extorted money from him in the amount of 195,452 rubles, and having been refused, they stopped contacting and began to ignore all requests.

The entrepreneur first appealed to the Solnechnogorsk City Prosecutor's Office. In connection with the revealed violations of the requirements of housing legislation in the field of electric power, in July last year, Svetlana Nikolaevna Tretyakova, the General director of LLC UK "Rodny Gorodok", was submitted a submission. However, the management company did not fulfill the requirements of the prosecutor's representation.

"Due to the actions of the management company, the current store was closed. All products purchased for sale were damaged due to expiration date," the entrepreneur said.

In August 2021, upon the fact of an illegal power outage, a criminal case was initiated against the management of LLC UK "Rodny Gorodok" of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Solnechnogorsk city district on the grounds of a crime under Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Arbitrariness). But, as the businessman pointed out in his appeal, the investigation of the criminal case was suspended, and the perpetrators of the crime were not brought to criminal responsibility.

After a year of unsuccessful attempts to restore his violated rights, the entrepreneur turned to the Commissioner Vladimir Golovnev for help. At the request of the Business Ombudsman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow region and the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region conducted inspections, following which in March of this year the police decision to suspend the investigation of the criminal case was canceled, the electricity supply was resumed, and the store is gradually restoring its work.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing, investigative and procedural actions are being carried out aimed at establishing the circumstances to be proved in accordance with the requirements of Article 73 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The case remains under the control of the Commissioner.
