Thanks to the assistance of the Moscow Business Ombudsman, the stolen property was returned to the entrepreneur.
At the end of September, at a joint reception of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region, Vladimir Golovnev, and the acting prosecutor of the Moscow region, Andrei Gantsev, an entrepreneur from Solnechnogorsk applied for the protection of her rights and legitimate interests.
A female businessman rented non-residential premises in Solnechnogorsk for trade. In April of this year, it was seized by unknown persons. Together with the office, property, cash and financial and economic documentation worth more than 6 million rubles were stolen. Such tangible damage paralyzed the company's activities.
The entrepreneur wrote a statement to the police, however, the procedural check that followed, refused to reopen the criminal case. There was a danger of losing evidence of crimes committed.
Participating in a joint reception, the entrepreneur described the situation.
According to the results of the prosecutor's inspection, violations of the criminal procedure legislation committed during the conduct of procedural actions, including red tape, were revealed. Officials have been brought to disciplinary responsibility.
Criminal cases have been initiated under articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for arbitrariness and theft.
The property stolen from the entrepreneur was seized from the intruders and given to the representative of the victim for safekeeping.
