The successful development of tourism in the Moscow Region is noted by the economists of the Central Department of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal District.

The new October issue of the report of the Bank of Russia "Regional Economy" analyzes the state of various sectors of the economy and notes that in Central Russia in August-early September there was an increase in demand for domestic tourism compared to last year. For the development of tourism, it is planned to expand capital investments in infrastructure and tourist programs as part of the implementation of the national tourism project.

One of the major projects is the development of the Moscow Region, including a new concept of recreation routes in Zaraysk, Dmitrov and Serpukhov, including the construction of hotels, parking lots, the creation of a convenient navigation system, transfers and the opening of catering outlets.

- The Moscow Region is an investment-attractive region not only in terms of production and industrial facilities, but also tourism. The region, like a patchwork quilt, is literally woven from the inflorescence of ancient, unique cities rich in history and traditions.  Sergiev Posad is part of the Golden Ring of Russia, Serpukhov plans to enter there. I believe that we have all the components for good prospects in this direction, because the development of tourism gives an impulse to local entrepreneurs to expand their fields of activity and create new jobs. In general, the Government and the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrey Vorobyov, are doing a lot to ensure that the Moscow Region is a leader in this matter,- said Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
