The professional community of lawyers and attorneys in the Moscow region has joined the work of the regional business ombudsman. 

Yesterday, the first meeting of the expert commission on norm-setting under the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region was held in the regional Government House.

One of the priorities of the Ombudsman’s work is rule-making, which implies participation in regulatory and actual impact and expertise of normative legal acts assessment, legislative initiatives preparation and sending them to the Moscow Regional Duma, as well as making proposals for the adoption, modification or abolition of regulations of local authorities.

- The Commission will act as an expert advisory body to the Commissioner. It consists of representatives of the professional legal community of Moscow and the Moscow region. Everyone has their own areas of competence: civil law relations, land and property, international legal relations. There are also new, trendy directions such as IT-technologies, blockchain technologies, informatization and others. Our commission will be versatile and will help to provide high-quality expert professional legal assessment of the documents that exist and are implemented in the Moscow region and beyond,” - said Elena Lebanskaya, chairman of the expert commission on rule-making, on the upcoming work.

During the meeting, the newly minted members of the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman team discussed the main provisions of the work and the mechanisms of interaction with the leaders of the public reception of the Commissioner and the business community of the Moscow region.
