Contract done, payment … awaited
In July, the Podolsk legal entity director complained to the Moscow Regional Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev. The businessmen claimed, that he had entirely completed work under city contract but still was not paid. And the matter had been settled for the business benefit just within fortnight as a result.
Last year a private company concluded a contract with a preschool for provision of preventive electrical automation services. It should be noted that, the contract ended the last December with all work been fully completed within the timeframe.
The preschool administration signed the final acts, but timely payment from this organization has not been forthcoming. And as a consequence, the entrepreneur requested the Business Ombudsman to intervene for supporting. Having considered the arguments, Vladimir Golovnev forwarded the application to the Moscow Region Office of the Auditor-General for further inspection.
In addition, the Ombudsman Office representatives telephoned the preschool director in order to clarify the legislation in force that does establish administrative responsibility for municipal contract breach. Consequently, the debt was settled in its entirety just two weeks after the application. Later the businessman extended his appreciation to the Moscow Regional Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev for providing total support.
