After having discussed the existent mobile app for the self-employed "My tax", it was decided being finalized.
On January 31st 2020, under a priority government program "enforcement activity reform", the Moscow Region Tax Service held a public hearing dedicated to tax enforcement practices in Moscow Region.
This event participated the staff of the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman's Office who discussed several issues then:
1. " The first year experiment's in Moscow Region outcomes related to the special taxation regime " the professional income tax", according to the Federal Law 422 since 27.11. 18.";
2." VAT calculation under subsidies from Russian Federation budget system. Its main changes and current issues".
Some sections of the mobile app for self-employed "My tax" should be modified as a result of the dispute.
A special tax regime for self-employed is active as an experiment since last year in some regions: Moscow, Moscow Region, Kaluga region, Tatarstan region.
Other 19 regions are scheduled to join this experiment on 01.01.20 with further expansion throughout the whole country since 01.07.20.
Persons, who work for themselves, may to register as official self-employed to pay tax of 4% to 6% respectively, if they work with or without individuals, either with entities and individual entrepreneurs involved. The app "My tax" is developed for that purpose and provides the interface with tax authorities without personal visit and equally cancel the need for cash register and reporting. - reminded the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev.
On the second question, it was decided of further clarification and ensuring that the provisions of VAT calculation is made more widely known to the taxpayers when receiving state subsidies.
Beyond that, the Moscow Region tax specialists discussed the issues of using cash register and terms of the law on taxation of entities and individual's property. All questions have been answered during the discussion.
