"Following the approved schedule we visit all the detention facilities in Moscow Region to assess the conditions for entrepreneurs and other aspects related to criminal proceedings.
Based on own authority and competency, we deal with business appeals of rights violention in criminal prosecution. It is worth noting that there was no complaint for staff and management of Federal Penitentiary Service (UFSIN) of Russian Federation in Moscow Region in 2020 year.
The number of incoming business complaints of law enforcement actions in 2020 is nearly 11, 9%. Thus, in 2019 year there was 26,8% of appeals.
In order to consider most difficult complaints, an Expert Commission was set up in February 2020 to provide protection for the entrepreneur's rights in criminal proceedings. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic proliferation we had to put off visits to some Moscow Region detentions until the current situation improves. At this time, I would like to note that such collaboration with the Moscow Region Social Monitoring Commission increases the efficiency of appeal's consideration ". - said the Commissioner for the Protection of the Entrepreneur's Rights in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev.
