With an assistance of the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev, an entrepreneur from Voskresensk urban district could avoid the overpayment of property taxation.
At July of 2019 year the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev received an application from an individual entrepreneur for the rational basis of his commercial property being included in the List of immovable properties with tax base equally the cadastral value.
Before 2016 year the size of property taxes was a little higher than 300 thousand of rubles, based on the cadastral value of property of 84 million rubles.
However, the immovable property, used in commercial purposes, was listed as the property with tax base equally the cadastral value. A benefit was cancelled and the cadastral value increased up to 156,2 million rubles. The property tax is 2,3 million of rubles. “The tax payment always has been made in time before, but since 2017 year the sum of 2,3 million rubles became too much for our entity to pay. I kindly request you to consider this matter and help us to save our business”- that was said in the application.
According to the information, a businesswoman from Belozersk of Voskresensk urban district failed to settle the matter by herself for some reasons, so she has to apply for a support to the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev.
"Since the 2015 year the taxation for entity property was estimated on the basis of its cadastral value. It is not unusual when a lack of sufficient data necessary or miscalculation leads to high rate and to unreasonable improvement of taxation as a result. To avoid an overpayment and even bankruptcy, the entrepreneurs have to use a challenge proceedings and the cadastral value to be reviewed as well as the taxation itself"- said the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev.
As for this appeal, the result required has been made - by the order of the Ministry of Moscow Region Property from 31.07.20 the specified property object is excluded from the List for 2020 year, that, according to the words of Vladimir Golovnev, will reduce the loads for Belozersk entrepreneur.
