The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region, Vladimir Golovnev, paid a working visit to the production of the «Retinoids» company, located in Balashikha city district.

For more than 30 years, the company, established on the basis of the Central Skin and Venereological Institute, has been successfully engaged in the production of various medicines and therapeutic cosmetics. This is a full-cycle pharmaceutical company. The range includes about 15 drugs of its own unique development for the treatment of skin diseases. Currently, three more new products are under development, said CEO Konstantin Nozdrin. He also noted that the company employs about 180 highly qualified specialists. With the transfer of part of the production from Moscow to Balashikha, several dozen more vacant places will appear. The volume of production exceeds 3 million packages per year, and the sale of the branded drug "Radevit Asset" exceeded 1 million packages per year. The economic situation has made adjustments to the company's work, but insignificant – the company does not use borrowed funds and independently solves the logistics issue with European suppliers.

 "Here, at this unique enterprise, we see a concrete example of import substitution. It is impressive that the organization has its own scientific base, and what is produced here is developed by domestic scientists. The company is dynamically developing and overcoming all the challenges that time throws. In connection with the sanctions, the logistics directions for the supply of raw materials have been changed, and there is also a sufficient supply of raw materials for the year ahead," Vladimir Golovnev shared his impressions.

Despite the favorable combination of circumstances, the company still notes the redundancy and high cost of permits. In order to launch mass production of a new drug, it takes as much time to approve papers as it takes to conduct tests.

"Today, issues of organizational rather than financial assistance come to the fore. A reasonable approach to the regulation of economic sectors, including pharmacological, is needed. Our companies are able to create truly unique medicines, but they should not spend six months on formal procedures.

Ensuring the health of citizens is one of the most important tasks of the state, which will be difficult to solve without domestic producers. Let's take this issue under control. It is necessary to support and develop such enterprises, and not create additional obstacles," Vladimir Golovnev stressed.
