In Yaroslavl Business ombudsmen from 60 regions of Russia discussed issues of business adaptation to work under sanctions.
The anniversary XX Interregional meeting of Commissioners for the Protection of the Rights of entrepreneurs is taking place these days in Yaroslavl.
Business ombudsmen from 60 regions of the Russian Federation devoted the main discussion to the topical issues of today - the adaptation of business to work under sanctions.
The plenary session, which became a key event on the agenda, was opened by Deputy Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Alexey Doronkin, the Chairman of the Yaroslavl Regional Duma Mikhail Borovitsky and Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Yaroslavl Region Alfir Bakirov.
The moderators of the plenary session were the business ombudsmen of the Moscow and Sverdlovsk regions - Vladimir Golovnev and Elena Artyukh.
The meeting participants raised, in particular, the implementation of federal and regional support measures on the ground, the provision of tax benefits for small and medium-sized businesses, tax amnesty and liberalization of interaction between tax authorities and entrepreneurs, measures of the Bank of Russia to support SMEs, topical issues of customs regulation during the period of external sanctions. Separately, we considered a number of systemic problems of Russian business - the tax regulation of the jewelry industry and the need for tax reform to implement the "earned-paid" principle on the example of property and transport taxes.
The Moscow Business Ombudsman presented to colleagues from the regions the success story of Irina Mitanova, a businesswoman from Solnechnogorsk, a participant in the program of the regional support measure "Land for 1 Ruble", which allowed Irina to increase production capacity and create new jobs.
"The Institute of Commissioners celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Over the years, a real team of like-minded people has been formed, to which you can always turn for help or advice. Meeting at such events, we share our experience and jointly look for solutions to existing business problems. The way the business and government link will work out in this difficult time will show how strong we are," Vladimir Golovnev said.
He also stressed that in difficult economic conditions, the Moscow Region business feels real support from the regional Government and the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov.
"We are constantly in close contact with the business community, monitor the mood in the business environment, get feedback on which support measures are working and which are falling. Literally, on the eve of the Interregional Meeting, in June, we conducted another survey among the Moscow Region entrepreneurs about the impact of sanctions. The vast majority of respondents are well aware of the existing state support measures and are considering the possibility of obtaining them. Most of all, entrepreneurs pin their hopes on measures for concessional lending to refill working capital," Golovnev commented.
He also stressed that business has expressed a consolidated position on the issue of trust in the authorities in our country: "The business community almost equally believes that federal, regional and local governments are acting effectively in the current situation."
As a result of the plenary session, all proposals voiced by Business ombudsmen and representatives of the business community will be accumulated and formed the basis of documents that will subsequently be sent to Boris Titov, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Russian Federation, and Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
