Entrepreneurs of Moscow and the Moscow Region received more than 75 billion rubles of preferential loans.

During the three months of the anti-crisis programs of preferential turnover and investment lending, small and medium-sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs in Moscow and the Moscow Region signed 2.3 thousand loan agreements with banks.

According to the Central Directorate of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal District, Moscow entrepreneurs actually received 1.6 thousand such loans for 54.5 billion rubles, and the Moscow Region – 682 loans for 20.6 billion rubles. These funds were used to issue new loans and restructure previously issued ones.

Under the revolving credit program in the Moscow Region, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses received 2.2 thousand loans from mid-March to mid-June of this year. Of these, 633 loans were issued in the Moscow Region. The program of investment preferential lending in Moscow and the Moscow Region was in less demand: 177 loan agreements were concluded. The Moscow Region accounted for about 30% of such loans.

In March 2022, the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation developed and approved anti–crisis preferential lending programs that allow entrepreneurs to take out turnover loans for up to a year and investment loans for up to three years. Small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as individual entrepreneurs and the self-employed can apply for preferential loans until the end of 2022.

"In June, on our initiative, an analytical study was conducted on the impact of sanctions on the business climate of the Moscow Region. 403 entrepreneurs from 47 municipalities of the Moscow Region took part in the survey. The overwhelming majority of respondents are well aware of the existing state support measures and are considering the possibility of receiving them – 76.7%. Most of all, entrepreneurs put their hopes on measures for concessional lending to replenish working capital. Therefore, I am sure that the programs developed by the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation will be in demand in the business community, as they enable companies to receive additional funds for the development of their own production and the creation of new jobs. You can get a loan from 13 banks, and in case of difficulties in interacting with banks, entrepreneurs can use the feedback form. Specialists will process the application in one day," commented Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
