The Moscow Region register of social enterprises has been replenished with new SMEs.
According to the results of the next meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission to consider the recognition of small and medium-sized businesses as social enterprises in the Moscow Region, as of the end of August 2022, 779 individual entrepreneurs and organizations were recognized as such. Of these, 287 companies submitted applications for the first time, 492 business entities confirmed this status again.
In just eight months of this year, 825 applications were submitted, 46 refusals were received. For comparison, over the same period last year, 551 SMEs were recognized as social enterprises.

Applications for grants to social entrepreneurs continue to be accepted in the Moscow Region. To date, more than 250 businessmen apply for this support measure.
And already on September 1st, a regional subsidy will start, which will compensate up to 85% of the costs incurred for rent, utilities, and employee training.
The amount of the subsidy for social business will be up to 2 million rubles and separately up to 3 million rubles for nursery groups," said Vladimir Golovnev, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
It should also be noted that tomorrow a round table for social entrepreneurs of the region will be held at the “My Business” Center.
During the event, experts will answer questions about measures to support social entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region, including inclusion in the Register of SMEs with the status of a social enterprise, subsidies and much more.
