Vladimir Golovnev noted the prospects for the development of arbitration in the Moscow Region.
The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev paid a working visit to a public reception in the Balashikha city district and discussed with its head, the president of the Municipal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anatoly Shestakov, the results of work for 2022.
In particular, cases were considered when local authorities provided real assistance and support to businesses in solving emerging problems.
For example, one company's public reception of the Commissioner in Balashikha helped to achieve a fair recalculation of the cost of utilities for heating. Thanks to this, the businessman managed to save a large sum and direct it to the further development of his business.
We paid special attention to the positive practice of arbitration proceedings. This was told in detail to the Moscow Business Ombudsman by the International Commercial Arbitration court (ICAC) arbitrator at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation (CCI) for internal Disputes Vladimir Milovidov.
The International Commercial Arbitration Court (ICAC) is Russia's leading permanent arbitration institution that administers primarily international commercial arbitration and is the legal successor of the Foreign Trade Arbitration Commission formed at the All–Union Chamber of Commerce in 1932. The ICAC is among the largest and most authoritative arbitration centers in the world, recognized by both domestic and foreign entrepreneurs. Since 1999, the ICAC has been a member of the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutes (IFCAI). In 2022, the ICAC turns 90 years old. Over the years, the ICAC has considered more than 10,000 cases.
At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Golovnev congratulated Vladimir Milovidov on the 90th anniversary of the founding of the ICAC at the CCI of Russia and presented the Honorary Diploma of the Commissioner.
- The Commissioner's interaction with the ICAC, the legal community and arbitration courts gives tangible results. So, since the beginning of the year, 46.5% of all received appeals requiring third-party intervention in the case have been considered in favor of entrepreneurs. I think this is a worthy result in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the business community," Vladimir Golovnev summed up.
