Moscow business restructured loans for 58.5 billion rubles.
Entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region from March 1st to September 30th of 2022 received a restructuring of 12.5 thousand loan agreements in the amount of over 400 billion rubles from banks, as the Central Directorate of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal District told.
Thus, 341.6 billion rubles accounted for representatives of small and medium—sized businesses in Moscow and 58.5 billion rubles - the region.
Due to the difficult economic situation and the imposition of sanctions, entrepreneurs of the affected industries could take advantage of credit holidays under the law and restructuring under their own programs of banks. In this way, credit holidays were provided to entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region for 2.6 thousand applications in the amount of 23.4 billion rubles.
The restructuring of loans under the banks' own programs, entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region received a little less than a thousand applications in the amount of 35.2 billion rubles.
"Credit holidays and restructuring are a measure of support for entrepreneurs aimed at resolving and preventing overdue debts of small and medium—sized businesses," explained Irina Timonicheva, the Deputy Head of the Central Department of the Bank of Russia for the Central Federal Department.
