The Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev and the Moscow Region Prosecutor Sergey Zabaturin held a joint reception of entrepreneurs.

Businessmen from Kolomna, Kotelniki, Podolsk, Pushkinsky, Taldomsky urban districts of Moscow Region applied for protection of their rights and legitimate interests.

During the event, 8 appeals were considered with complaints about illegal criminal prosecution and inaction of law enforcement agencies on the application for the commission of a crime, as well as illegal actions and decisions of control and supervisory authorities and local self-government offices.

– In order to more effectively consider the appeals of entrepreneurs, we concluded an agreement with the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow Region in 2015. The practice of holding our joint receptions has repeatedly confirmed the correctness of the decision made. According to the results of these events, it is possible to restore the rights of businessmen in 65% of cases, which has a favorable effect on the business climate in the region," Vladimir Golovnev noted.

The checks will be carried out on all issues in the near future and, if necessary, measures of the prosecutor's response will be taken. Until the completion of the consideration of entrepreneurs' appeals, they remain under the control of the Commissioner.
