Thanks to the assistance of the Moscow Business Ombudsman, a criminal case was opened on the theft of the entrepreneur's property.
After the intervention of Vladimir Golovnev, the case of the theft of property belonging to a construction company from Tula, which carried out work under a state contract in the Ruza city district of the Moscow Region, moved from a dead point. A criminal case was initiated.
The director of a construction company from Tula addressed to the Moscow Regional Business Ombudsman. In the course of work under the state contract, his organization supplied a set of structures for the construction of a two-story modular building of a fire station in the Ruza city district of the Moscow Region. The building structures were stolen by unknown persons. The company filed a statement on the theft to the police. Based on the results of a procedural check conducted by the Ruza police department, a decision to refuse initiating a criminal case was made.
In connection with the inaction of the police, the director of the construction company turned for help to the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev.
Having studied the applicant's arguments, Vladimir Golovnev sent appeals to the State Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow Region and the regional Prosecutor's Office. A check of the actions of the police was initiated on the grounds of a crime provided for in part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft on a particularly large scale). The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ruza city district has been requested by the prosecutor's office. The progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case are under the control of the Ruza City Prosecutor's Office.
