Thanks to the Business Ombudsman, the entrepreneur was able to continue the construction of a grocery store.
In 2018, the entrepreneur signed a land lease agreement with the municipal administration for the subsequent construction of a grocery store.
The necessary permits and approvals were obtained, and construction of the building began. But, the pandemic that began in 2020, has made its own adjustments. Construction was suspended, the publication was never put into operation. As a result, the lease term of the land plot ended, and the municipal government refused to extend it. The businessman filed a lawsuit, won the case, but the administration of the municipality was in no hurry to execute the court's decision.
For the protection of his rights and legitimate interests, the entrepreneur turned to the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman Vladimir Golovnev. Having studied the applicant's arguments, the Business Ombudsman instructed the head of the public reception to investigate the circumstances of the case. The entrepreneur's question was considered at a joint reception of the head of the reception and the city prosecutor. As a result, the prosecutor sent an idea to the administration about the need to execute the court's decision.
The lease of the land has been extended, the construction of the facility has continued and is at the final stage.
