Business Ombudsmen from 45 regions of Russia discussed regional aspects of the development of the Institute of Commissioners for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs.
The interregional meeting of the Commissioners for the Protection of the rights of entrepreneurs is taking place these days in the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region.
Business ombudsmen from 45 regions of the Russian Federation gathered at the interregional platform to discuss issues that concern entrepreneurs today and share their experience in protecting business rights. For the first time, the event was attended by a representative of the new regions – the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of entrepreneurs under the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The plenary session was opened by Maxim Avdeev, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Yaroslavl Region, Mikhail Borovitsky, the Chairman of the Yaroslavl Regional Duma, and Alfir Bakirov, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Yaroslavl Region.
The moderators of the plenary session were the Business Ombudsmen of the Vladimir Region and the Republic of Karelia - Alla Matyushkina and Elena Gnetova.
The meeting participants discussed the implementation of federal and regional support measures on the ground, achievements and problems that business advocates face on a daily basis. The rapidly increasing number of self-employed in Russia creates new areas of work. A bill extending the powers of business ombudsmen to self-employed citizens is under consideration in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The moderators also touched upon the specifics of working with marketplaces.
A separate session was devoted to the topic of criminal prosecution of business. The session was moderated by acting Rector of Demidov Yaroslavl State University, the Chairman of the regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Artem Ivanchin and Head of the expert center on Criminal law policy and enforcement of judicial acts of Delovaya Rossiya Ekaterina Avdeeva.
"The interregional meeting of Commissioners for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs, of which the Moscow Region is a permanent participant, has been held in Yaroslavl since 2013 and has become a good tradition. Here we share our experience, best practices, and consider systemic issues of the business community," said Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
The Moscow region business has been taking a leading position for several years. This is a well-coordinated work of the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov and his team.
The questions and proposals, that were voiced during the Interregional Conference, will form the basis of documents that will be subsequently sent to Boris Titov, the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs, and Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
