Utility tariffs were adjusted only after the intervention of the Moscow Business Ombudsman.
A businessman from Balashikha appealed to the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev with a complaint about the actions of a municipal unitary enterprise.
The entrepreneur has been renting a municipal building for a kindergarten for many years. However, in the last three years, due to the reorganization of the resource-supplying organization, bills for heating and hot water supply began to be issued incorrectly. Having a court decision in hand, the company supplying utility resources was in no hurry to fulfill the legitimate requirements of the businessman. The entrepreneur turned to the Business Ombudsman to protect his rights and legitimate interests.
On behalf of Vladimir Golovnev, the head of the public reception of the Commissioner in the Balashikha city district, Anatoly Shestakov, organized a joint reception of the entrepreneur with the city prosecutor. The appeal was considered, a submission was made to the municipal unitary enterprise.
- In connection with the creation of a unified management company based on heating networks and a water utility, 6 appeals from entrepreneurs have been received to our reception, 5 of which have already been successfully resolved through the consolidated work of the public reception of the Commissioner, the Committee on Prices and Tariffs of the Moscow Region, as well as the prosecutor's office and the administration of the city district, - commented Anatoly Shestakov.
Currently, at the request of the applicant, the bills for consumed resources are being adjusted. The issue remains under the control of the Commissioner.
