The register of social enterprises has been replenished with new SMEs.
According to the results of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the consideration of issues of recognition of small and medium-sized businesses as social enterprises in the Moscow Region in 2023, 940 individual entrepreneurs and organizations were recognized as such entities.
Of these, 275 companies submitted applications for the first time, 665 economic entities confirmed this status again.
In total, 1015 applications were submitted in the first half of 2023, 75 refusals were received.
It is worth noting that for the same period last year 260 fewer applications were submitted – 755, of which 722 SMEs were recognized as social enterprises based on the results of the review.
- The Moscow Region continues to occupy a leading position in terms of the number of companies working in the social sphere. Various support measures are provided for the comprehensive development of social entrepreneurship in the region: subsidies, grants, soft loans, special educational programs, as well as property measures. For example, the lease of state or municipal property on preferential terms, - said the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev.
