More than 180 disputes of entrepreneurs have been settled since the beginning of the year by the regional mediation center.
In 2019, a trilateral agreement was signed in the Moscow Region between the Moscow Region Chamber of Advocates, the regional Department of the Ministry of Justice and the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region on the organization of a Mediation Center.
For more than three years, the Center has been successfully engaged in conciliation procedures, carries out extensive work on legal education, advises and provides comprehensive support to the business community of the region.
Mediation is an effective form of pre-trial dispute resolution in difficult situations. As a way to resolve conflicts, it can be used in many areas of business life – relationships with customers, suppliers, employee-employer relations, with competitors in interpersonal communication. There are no plaintiffs and defendants in mediation, there is no task to determine the right and the guilty. The mediator helps in negotiations, the decision is made by the disputing parties themselves.
Issues related to disputes of economic entities that are not within the competence of the Business Ombudsman are sent to the Center. Thus, since the beginning of 2023, 183 appeals of entrepreneurs have been successfully considered. In 90% of cases, it was possible to agree and reconcile the parties to the conflict.
- In the urban districts of Krasnogorsk, Yegoryevsk, Reutov, Leninsky, Volokolamsk, Lotoshino, Shakhovskaya, trilateral cooperation agreements were signed between the administration and the head of the public reception of the Business Ombudsman. We receive a positive response from municipal administrations in support of the development of mediation, - says the head of the regional Mediation Center Maria Svetlova.
