Zvenigorod Financial and Economic College held another business lesson within the framework of the project "entrepreneurial classes".
The event was attended by college students, as well as students of grades 8-10 of the "First School named after M.A. Pronin" and the school "Quantum named after Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Fabrichnov".
The head of the public reception of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Odintsovo city district Valentina Stepanova told about her path as an entrepreneur and the Institute for Small business Support in the Moscow Region. Current trends in modern entrepreneurship were considered using examples.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the project "Silver Years" Victoria Stepanova. She told the children about a vivid example of a socially useful business, where elderly people are taught applied crafts in creative workshops, followed by the sale of products.
The students also got acquainted with the history of pre-revolutionary entrepreneurs of Russia. They were told about a fellow countryman – Zvenigorod tea industrialist Konstantin Abramovich Popov, whose biography is an example of patronage, charity, high spirituality and patriotism. Popov's estate in Porechye has been preserved to this day.
The project "entrepreneurial classes" is carried out on the initiative of the Business Ombudsman of the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev in the urban districts of the Moscow Region.
