As part of the implementation of the branch project of the Federal Tax Service "Exclusion of unfair behavior in the markets" in the shopping complex "Podvorye", located on Svobody Street in Odintsovo of the Moscow Region, an event was held to control the use of cash register equipment.

The raid was attended by employees of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Moscow Region, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Moscow Region, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Odintsovo City District.

For preventive purposes, the Office of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Moscow Region, along with the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Moscow Region, conducts extensive information and preventive work: meetings, preventive visits to tenants in order to clarify the legislation on the application of cash register equipment.

- 350 markets and retail spaces, including 8 078 tenants, participate in the industry project. The Podvorye shopping complex is an exemplary market for the use of cash register equipment in settlements with customers in the region. We have conducted control purchases, no violations have been detected. We urge all buyers and consumers of services to demand receipts for each purchase, as this is a guarantee of return or exchange of low-quality products," said Alexey Uskov, the head of the Operational Control Department of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Moscow Region.

In addition to compliance with the cash register discipline, a system of audio notification of buyers about the need to receive a receipt when making a purchase works in the shopping halls of the shopping mall "Podvorya", and QR codes are placed near the counters, with which the buyer can report a violation if the receipt was not issued.

- We actively participate in the project together with the tax service, conduct extensive educational and explanatory work in the business environment. It is important to us that entrepreneurs who use cash register equipment still work in the Moscow Region. I would like to see such shopping facilities as "Podvorye" in the whole Moscow Region. And we, as an institute for the protection of business, in turn, are ready to train entrepreneurs, help them introduce new technologies and, of course, protect their rights and interests, but only if they comply with the law, - said Natalia Chudakova, the head of the Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
