A representative of the Moscow Region Business Ombudsman visited a pre-trial detention center in Mozhaisk city district.
In order to control the detention of entrepreneurs suspected (accused) of committing crimes in the field of economics, Natalia Chudakova, who is a representative of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region, as part of a Public Monitoring Commission headed by Sergei Leonov, visited the Federal Penitentiary Institution "Pre-trial Detention Center No. 10" of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Moscow Region. It is located in the Mozhaisk city District.
The joint visit took place within the framework of an Agreement on cooperation between the Public Supervisory Commission of the Moscow Region and the Business Ombudsman.
The participants of the trip got acquainted with the conditions of detention of the accused and suspects in the pre-trial detention center. In addition to the inspection of the cells and premises of the pre-trial detention center, individual interviews were conducted on personal appeals received by the ONK commission.
During the thematic reception, suspects were heard under Article 159 part 4. Legal consultations were provided, explanations were given on the procedure for appealing the extension of a preventive measure in the form of detention.
