The assistance of the Business Ombudsman helped the trading company to agree on a place to collect solid municipal waste.
The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region, Vladimir Golovnev received an appeal from a trade organization complaining about the unlawful refusal of the city district administration to coordinate the location of the solid municipal waste accumulation site.
Due to the lack of municipal container sites near the commercial facility, the applicant planned to install his own container for collecting municipal solid waste. An application was sent to the administration for approval of the place for accumulation the solid municipal waste, issued in accordance with the requirements of current legislation and the form posted on the website of the municipality.
Having been refused, the company turned to the Moscow Business Ombudsman for help.
The Commissioner sent a letter to the prosecutor of the Moscow Region containing the arguments of the appeal, the materials attached to it, as well as a request to verify the stated circumstances and, if necessary, take measures of the prosecutor's response.
As a result of the interaction between the prosecutor's office and the local government, violations were eliminated, and the approval of the location of the waste accumulation site was received.
