The assistance of the Business Ombudsman helped to restore the electricity supply to the entrepreneur's land plot.
The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev was approached by an individual entrepreneur engaged in the production of metal products.
A few years ago, a businessman acquired ownership of a land plot in a technopark and paid for electricity through a management company. In January 2022, the power supply to the facility was stopped. The entrepreneur concluded a new direct contract with the supplier Mosenergosbyt JSC but this was not followed by the supply of electricity to the individual entrepreneur's receiving devices.
Repeated appeals to PJSC Rosseti Moscow Region and JSC Mosenergosbyt did not yield results. He turned to the Business Ombudsman for advice.
The Commissioner sent a letter to the Prosecutor of the Moscow Region, containing a request to verify the circumstances set out in the appeal and, if necessary, take measures of the prosecutor's response.
In connection with the revealed violations of legislation in the housing and communal services sector, as well as the Rules of technical operation of electric power plants and networks of the Russian Federation, expressed in improper provision of public services, the Ramenskoye City Prosecutor's Office submitted a submission to the director of the branch of PJSC ROSSETI Moscow Region - Southern Electric Networks.
In order to identify and eliminate the causes of the lack of electricity, employees of PJSC ROSSETI Moscow Region carried out a trip along with the applicant to a land plot belonging to him, as a result of which the power supply was restored.
