Entrepreneurs from the Moscow Region will be explained the nuances of working with customs authorities.
On the initiative of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev and the Moscow Region Chamber of Advocates, a free webinar for business owners and managers will be held on February 28th at 11:00 a.m., which will address two topical topics at once.
The first topic will address the issues of preparing documents and information to confirm the customs value during additional inspections, conducted by the customs authority.
The webinar participants will learn about the main documents confirming the declared customs value, the specifics of their registration, as well as the grounds on which the customs authority concludes that it is impossible to use the submitted documents:
- documentary confirmation of the concluded transaction;
- documentary confirmation of payment upon delivery of the goods;
- documentary evidence of transportation costs and their payment;
- placing the goods on the balance sheet;
- preparation of additional documents, confirming the declared customs value.
The second topic of the webinar will be devoted to the appeal of decisions of the customs authority in court on the adjustment of the customs value and the obligation of the customs authority to refund additional customs duties and taxes.
The procedure for appealing decisions of the customs authority on the adjustment of customs value:
- time limits for appealing decisions;
- the possibility to extend the time limit for appealing decisions;
- features of proving the customs value in court.
The speaker of the webinar will be Sergey Mokshansky, the partner of the Sed Lex, the Senior Commissioner for Particularly Important Cases of the Department of Administrative Investigations of the Moscow Regional Customs.
