Commenting on the Annual Report on Activities, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev spoke about participation in lawsuits following the results of 2023.

Last year, the practice of assisting entrepreneurs in court proceedings with executive authorities, local governments or their officials in order to protect their rights and legitimate interests continued.

In accordance with the legislation, the involvement of the Commissioner to participate in the arbitration case as a third party who does not make independent claims, regarding the subject of the dispute, is carried out at the request of the person participating in the case or at the initiative of the court.

The involvement of the Commissioner to participate in the case on the initiative of the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region is dynamically gaining momentum. For example, the legal assistance provided helped an entrepreneur from Lyubertsy city district to restore ownership of a real estate object. Other cases are still being considered.

A total of 83 court sessions were held during the year.

The study of established judicial practice, the correct establishment of essential grounds for the case and the mandatory availability of documents, confirming the arguments of the entrepreneur, are factors without which a positive resolution of a judicial dispute is impossible.

- Providing consulting and legal assistance to entrepreneurs would be very difficult without involving lawyers of the Moscow Region Chamber of Advocates in this work. Entrepreneurs can always turn to professionals to get a free initial consultation," Vladimir Golovnev stressed.
