Entrepreneurs from the Moscow Region were told about the legal basis for hiring teenagers at a webinar.
Hiring minors is a responsible process that requires employers to comply with strict rules and regulations.
Valeria Arshinova, a lawyer at the “Sed Lex” Bar Association, told what you need to know and what documents to follow when employing teenagers at enterprises.
The speaker noted that teenagers from 14 to 18 years old can work. At the same time, working hours should not exceed more than 24 hours per week - if a teenager is under 16 years old, and no more than 35 hours - from 16 to 18 years old. Minors are allowed to do light work that is not harmful to health and development. Before applying for a job, a teenager must undergo a medical examination. The speaker listed the necessary documents required for employment from a young employee: work record, passport, SNILS, parental consent, educational documents.
Separately, the audience was told about the remuneration of minors and the responsibility of the employer.
