Complaints about illegal decisions, actions or inaction on the part of law enforcement agencies are among the most common complaints addressed to the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev. 

The joint work of the Business Ombudsman with the regional prosecutor's office plays a significant role in solving business problems.

In the first half of 2024, a lot of work was done on the appeals of entrepreneurs from the Moscow Region who sent their complaints to the Commissioner. 36% of the statements were found to be unfounded by the Prosecutor's office. In 80% of cases, representations were made, in 20% - requirements for the elimination of identified violations of the law. 1 unjustified decision to suspend the investigation of a criminal case has been canceled. Prosecutor's checks are continuing on 9 appeals.

- Our joint work with the prosecutor's office of the Moscow Region allows us to achieve concrete results in solving complex issues and provide support to businesses affected by problems in the criminal law sphere. Thus, it is possible to achieve justice and restoration of violated rights in a number of appeals from entrepreneurs. My colleagues and I regularly hold receptions of entrepreneurs in local public reception rooms along with representatives of the prosecutor's office. Each situation is individual, and we are trying to find the right solution to eliminate violations that hinder business development in the region," said Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
