Appeals related to the criminal prosecution of business were considered at a meeting of the Center for Public Procedures.
For about three years, the Center for Public Procedures has been operating in the Moscow Region, created to protect the rights of entrepreneurs from corrupt actions by officials, from unjustified criminal prosecution, including related to raiding and unfair competition.
At the next meeting of the advisory council of the Center for Public Procedures, chaired by Honorary lawyer of the Moscow Region Lev Lyalin, 6 appeals from entrepreneurs were considered.
- The Center for Public Procedures "Business against Corruption" in the Moscow Region is an authoritative expert platform for public discussion of cases of illegal criminal prosecution of businesses. At today's meeting of the scientific advisory council of the Center for Public Procedures, the appeals of entrepreneurs were analyzed in detail. Based on the results of the discussions, entrepreneurs or their representatives were given recommendations on protecting their rights and legitimate interests. Appeals where possible violations by the executive authorities are seen, will be sent to the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow Region for further consideration" - said Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
