Chekhov's schoolchildren should be taught a rational attitude to money.
As part of the Entrepreneurial Classes project, financial literacy classes will be held in Chekhov city district.
Individual entrepreneur Elena Safonova, a certified teacher, the head of an agency providing financial audit and tax consulting services, has developed an educational program on financial literacy.
She appealed to Alexey Kokorin, the head of the public reception of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region in the Chekhov city district, with a proposal to participate in the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Classes project in the Chekhov city district.
As part of an agreement with municipal budgetary educational institution Lyceum No. 4 of the Chekhov City District, lessons with high school students are scheduled for September.
- The realities of modern life require knowledge in the financial field. Obviously, the skill of handling money needs to be developed from childhood. In financial literacy lessons, children are told how to avoid the traps of scammers, why insurance is needed, they are introduced to the concepts of "income" and "expenses", they are taught to analyze the family budget and make a personal financial plan. It is logical that such lessons will be conducted by professional entrepreneurs - said Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of the Moscow Region.
