According to the results of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the consideration of issues of recognition of small and medium-sized businesses as social enterprises in the Moscow region since the beginning of 2024, 1125 individual entrepreneurs and organizations have been recognized as such.

Of these, 250 companies submitted applications for the first time, and 875 business entities confirmed this status again. In just nine months of this year, 1,194 applications were submitted, 69 of them were rejected. It is worth noting that during the month 7 companies were included in the register, 2 of which are engaged in employment of socially vulnerable categories of the population, 4 carry out activities aimed at achieving socially useful goals and contribute to solving social problems of society and 1 more produces goods for socially vulnerable categories of the population. - The Moscow Region is among the top leaders in the number of social enterprises in Russia. The growth of this category of entrepreneurship is completely natural. The status of a social enterprise provides a wide range of government support measures. Among the regional ones developed by the Governor's team are subsidies for rent, utilities, purchase and repair of premises, financial support for access to online platforms, grants for the implementation of business projects, the provision of microloans up to 5 million rubles. Undoubtedly, this gives businesses the opportunity to benefit society. Over the past few years, the number of educational studios, sports clubs, private kindergartens and other facilities that solve social problems and provide leisure for residents has increased in the region, - said Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
